Ganymède

An environment you explore with your hand. Ganymède takes its name from a moon of Jupiter and from a myth, and its rule from childhood: nothing is written down, you move forward by touching.
Born out of research on gesture interfaces at Stéréolux, the project found its widest form in the dome of the Société des arts technologiques in Montréal: several tableaux in which image and sound let the memory of a place that does not exist rise to the surface.
