Réfraction

A chrome sphere, two projectors, and a room that stops having walls. The image does not come to rest on the curved surface: it shatters on it, rebounds, scatters. What reaches the viewer is no longer the projection, it is the bursting of it.

The sphere does nothing. It returns. Everything else — the room, the ceiling, the bodies passing — becomes the surface of the work. I like that the object at the centre is the only thing that stays still.
